New version released today, Claymore’s Dual Ethereum Miner v8.0!
What’s new?
Claymore added new coin for dual mode: PASCAL (PASC)
Now you can mine Ethereum, Ethereum+Decred, Ethereum+Siacoin, Ethereum+Lbry or Ethereum+Pascal.
NOTE: Currently Pascal is not available for NVidia cards.
Also new:
- added “-nofee” option.
- added ability to use environment variables in “epools.txt”, “dpools.txt” and “config.txt” files. For example, define “WORKER” environment variable and use it as “%WORKER%” in config.txt.
- added “License.txt” file.
- minor improvements
I just tested the dual miner with Pascal, here are the results for 3x Sapphire Nitro+ RX 470 4GB OC:
i had to set -dcri 10 to have the same hashrate for Ethereum, also notice a slight improvement for Ethereum of 0.400 Mh/s.
ETH: 28.8 Mh/s per card = 6x GPU 172.8 Mh/s click here for calculator
PASC: 144 Mh/s per card = 6x GPU 875 Mh/s click here for calculator
NOTE: There will be a 140w+- extra power drain for a rig with 6 GPUs
