I managed to get to 13 1070s on centos. nothing special to do, just plug in risers and make sure cards are powered. Anything more than 13 won’t work tho.

Just need to do a bypass on the ATX connector. But these boards do not start with more than 13 GPUs, the 19 port thing is just a marketing gimmick, asus trying to promote their special mining GPUs, which pretty much renders this board useless.
